The replacement \2\t\1 just flips the two portions of the line and inserts a tab between them.
The replacement pattern can consist of one or more substitutions along with literal characters. They use a regular expression pattern to define all or part of the text that is to replace matched text in the input string. But I wasn’t clever enough to notice the blue. Substitutions are language elements that are recognized only within replacement patterns. Filter by these if you want a narrower list of alternatives or looking for a specific functionality of BBEdit.
